As a valued member of the Sun Metals team, you’ll play a key role in the safe, efficient operation and maintenance of plant equipment to ensure smooth, reliable production. Working in a supportive team environment, you’ll be part of a continuous shift roster (2 days, 2 nights, 4 days off), giving you a balanced work-life rhythm while contributing to a high-performing refinery operation.

• Clear and effective communication skills—both verbal and written
• Basic computer skills and a readiness to use digital tools in daily operations
• The physical fitness to safely perform manual tasks, including working in hot or dusty environments, climbing ladders, walking on uneven surfaces, and entering confined spaces
• The flexibility to work a continuous shift roster (2 days, 2 nights, 4 days off)
• A reliable, punctual approach to work and strong personal accountability

What Will Set You Apart
While not essential, the following qualifications and experience will be highly regarded:

• Previous experience in refining, mining, or other heavy industry environments
• Hands-on experience operating and maintaining fixed plant equipment such as pumps, valves, and conveyors
• Familiarity with autoclave operations and related processing systems
• Possession of High Risk Work Licences, including Forklift (LF), Cabin Gantry Crane (CB), Elevated Work Platform (WP), or Remote Gantry Crane (LBG)
• A high school certificate is preferred; trade qualifications will be considered an advantage
